- Full-Fat Cream Cheese – Use brick-style cream cheese. Do not go for the tub options. The taste and texture just won’t be the same.
- Plain Yogurt – This adds a nice tang and contributes to the creamy consistency while adding a boost of protein.
- Vanilla Extract – Adds delicious vanilla flavor throughout the frosting. Use pure vanilla extract, not imitation variety. Because we’re using so few ingredients, the quality really counts.
- Pure Maple Syrup – Sweetens the frosting, balancing some of the tanginess while adding a touch of molasses flavor. Honey or powdered sugar will also work.
- Sugar-Free Cheesecake Pudding Mix – This is our secret weapon for the best frosting you’ll ever taste! It makes it even creamier and adds an incredible sweet, vanilla flavor.
